Raised on artists such as Eminem, Kanye West, Mac Dre and OutKast, Kuttybear emerged in the late 2010’s as one of Kansas City’s standout lyricists. Born Stephon Colbert in Kansas City, Missouri, Kuttybear dived into his musical gifts as a youth. In 2018, Kuttybear released ‘Trouble in Paradise’. On “Burning Bridges”, he lands somewhere between rapper and singer while other songs like “Flashlight” and “Faded” showcase his supercilious lyrical prowess. Since then, Kutty has shifted into a label head position of Lost Balloon Entertainment, releasing the compilation ’You Gotta Just…Understand’ in 2024 & Kutty’s most recent album ‘Retail Therapy’ on Black Friday ‘25.
