​knaze (born June 30, 2006) is an American recording artist and record producer from Virginia. knaze’s music blends elements from the cloud rap scene with dubstep and sounds from the early plugg movement, citing the trap group Divine Council as one of his biggest inspirations.

​knaze released his first track, “motion,” in collaboration with Chapodraggin in early-2023. Tracks such as “one n done” and “watch yo back” gained traction in 2024, with his breakout track, “last year,” being released in March 2025. knaze often uses his music to retell his personal experiences, through introspection in tracks like “death only thing guaranteed,” raw energy like in “whole crew,” and in upbeat production such as “change.”

Alongside artists zenadu luciano and yunikue, knaze is also pioneering a subgenre they call “fall trance,” a blend of ambient, melodic, and emotional trap sounds that has gained some traction in the underground scene.
