Kale Itkonen (born July 22, 2004), professionally known as kmoe and formerly KmoeTheKid, is a Canadian producer and singer-songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia.

At as young as 9 years old, kmoe started producing EDM tracks on Garageband and Logic, taking inspiration from DJ and producer Deadmau5. In 2014, kmoe published his earliest known vocal track onto SoundCloud, titled “Invincible”. After disliking how his voice sounded, he switched to releasing remixes. However, in May 2019, kmoe released his first album an internet love story which consists almost entirely of his vocals. Later that year, kmoe joined the artist collective noheart after the owner draf messaged him, which lead to him meeting and collaborating with other artists within the hyperpop scene. kmoe is also a part of BALLS OFFICIAL MUSIC GROUP and commonly engages in “beat battles” with the other members.

In March 2020, kmoe released their second album flutter which was eventually deleted, however, four out of the twelve tracks were re-released onto streaming platforms.

kmoe has continued to experiment with his sound and release hyperpop tracks, taking inspiration from whatever music he is listening to.
