KLASSIC

KLASSIC (also performing under the moniker KLASSIC Da Don) is an American rapper, record producer, songwriter, and graphic designer from Cincinnati, Ohio. Operating as a fiercely independent multi-hyphenate, he is best known for his distinct brand of raw, blue-collar underground hip-hop, characterized by heavy punchlines, intricate technical flows, and custom-engineered production backdrops.

KLASSIC’s musical journey began in 2006 when he started building a recording studio from the ground up in his home. In 2009, he officially founded BrainStorm Records (B.S.R.), an independent imprint and creative hub designed to centralize his various artistic ventures and collaborate with regional talent from across the Midwest. Under his production banner, BrainStorm Beat Files, KLASSIC handles both the microphone and the mixing console—composing original instrumentals, engineering studio sessions, and distributing custom sound libraries like the iconic “BrainStorm Beat Files Drum Kit.”

His discography serves as an audio blueprint of Midwest street realism and independent hustle. He has carved out a dedicated regional following through highly structured projects, including his standout sophomore EP “Material Handler” (2018), which featured the survivalist anthem “I Wanna Live.” KLASSIC is also recognized for his “Nasty Nati Mix” compilation series, a collaborative project line spearheaded by BrainStorm Records to unify, promote, and amplify the underground rap culture of Cincinnati. By maintaining complete creative and financial control over his songwriting, production, and graphic design, KLASSIC continues to solidify his legacy as a self-sustaining force in Ohio’s independent music scene.
