Jayshawn Kylek Rowland, born on August 24, 2000, professionally known as Killval, is an American recording artist from Richmond, Virginia.

In 2019 Killval would release his first collaborative songs with Nick Mira such as “Waste My Time” and “Burning, But I’ll Be Alright”. On January 7th, 2020, Killval dropped his first EP Luv Digital produced entirely by Nick Mira.

It was long after he dropped his first EP Killval dropped ˂/3 on April 17, 2020 but shortly after it was deleted from his Soundcloud and finally re-released on all platforms in 2025.

Later In 2020 Killval released “So Long” on Soundcloud and not long after he released it on all platforms. The mix of Killval’s catchy flow and Nick Mira’s ambient guitar beat “So Long” begin to take off gaining millions of plays.
