With killseph, it’s clear: talent only seems to be getting younger each year. At just 15 years old, killseph’s hypnotic voice; paying homage to artists like Bryson Tiller and Chris Brown, paired with polished production, breathes life into the stories of today’s youth, bringing a fresh perspective to the world of R&B with maturity beyond his years. “I’m always evolving and looking for the next sound I can create,” the Saipan-bred rapper states about his musical journey. But his path to self-discovery wasn’t always a given. Like many teens, he found solace in the digital world during the pandemic, discovering his ability for music-making. With a leap of faith at 12 years old, he bravely pressed ‘post’ on his first track on SoundCloud, setting the stage for a journey awaiting to flourish.

Now, with two full-length albums and an EP in his catalog, killseph is poised to ascend to the stardom he’s always envisioned. “I realized I wasn’t putting myself in a position to receive the life I wanted,” he reflects. “Everyone has different opinions on what’s right or wrong, but I’m blocking all that now and trusting my intuition.“ Following what seemed like God’s plan, he moved from the bustling streets of Quezon City, Philippines back to the tropical breeze of Kagman, Saipan to create what he thinks is his best work yet. “This next project is definitely one that I had the most fun with, and it’s been amazing working on it. I can’t be making music if I’m not having fun with it.”
