Patrick Knight (born 1980), known professionally as Killa P, is a grime MC from Stockwell, South London who frequently crosses over into other soundsystem genres such as dancehall, dubstep, drum and bass, garage and UK funky. He rose to prominence in the noughties as the founder of So What Crew and a brief member of the pioneering group Roll Deep, contributing regularly to their discography from around 2006 to 2010.

In 2008, he gained international recognition after featuring on The Bug’s “Skeng” alongside his cousin, Flowdan. The song continues to get played in his sets today. The same year, he released his first full-length project, Killer Instinct Volume 1. This was followed up by 2009’s Credit Crunch and Killer Instinct Volume 2. At this time he also recorded with Riko Dan’s short-lived supergroup Cemetery Warriors, which also included Flowdan and God’s Gift.

In the mid-2010s during grime’s commercial resurgence, Knight formed the group Killa'z Army, which he fronted, accompanied by Irah and Long Range. In 2016, he lent vocals to another rave weapon: Sir Spyro’s “Topper Top”, which also features Teddy Bruckshot and Lady Chann. On the track, he teased the forthcoming release of a debut project, Killing Time. It was originally described as an EP, with its first single—“Bill Dem Quick”—released via SoundCloud in 2015 alongside the EP’s original artwork. Killing Time morphed into a full-length album and was eventually released in 2024, in collaboration with Italian production outfit Numa Crew; a significant change from his original vision for the project.
