Kendi
AKA: Milan Sisojević
Kendi, also known as Cantwait or Pablo Kenedi, is a Serbian rapper born in 1989 in Aleksinac. He began his music career in 2006, releasing his first song, followed by his debut album Preko noći in 2009. Under his Catnwait name he dropped Seks i Nasilje Vol. 1 & 2 (2009–2010) and Produkt Vol. 1 & 2 (2012).
In 2012, he joined the Serbian music label Bassivity and, in 2013, released the EP Lak na obaraču, which featured collaborations with notable Serbian rappers.
In late 2014, now under new name Kendi, he released an LP Van dometa, his first physically distributed album under Bassivity. With 15 tracks, the album is still one of his more popular releases.
In 2016, Kendi left Bassivity when his collaborator Papi Jaaz founded the independent label Aristokrat Muzik, where Kendi continued releasing music.
In 2017, he released Arapske pare, a parody critique of contemporary social issues. This single, still to this day, his biggest hit song with over 32 million streams on YouTube.
Later that year, he collaborated with Croatian producer Koolade on a 9 song album Papirni avioni
In 2018, under his Pablo Kenedi alias, he dropped the EP Krzno i suze, and shortly after dropped and album Trap je mrtav, a satirical take on trap music.
In 2023, under the name Kendi, he dropped his newest LP Dodirne tačke with the most notable feature with Relja, a famous Serbian musician on 7th track Pistolj.
His latest release is under Pablo Kenedi, a 5 song EP Krivolov.
