Kendall Hennessy (b. August 22, 1992), better known for their alias kendall :3 and sometimes as barroo, is a Seattle-based muscician, video editor, and artist, among other things. They make music in the synthpop/electronnic pop music genre, but often blends multiple different genres in their songs.

hey, released on August 11th, 2018, is kendall :3’s debut album that features a mix of electronic pop, piano, and ambient tracks. In 2023, the outro song “blue shift” was licensed to be featured in the television show “Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake” in the finale episode “Cheers”.

dirt, kendall :3’s sophomore album, released on August 22, 2021, has a wider range of instrumentation with some songs taking on a chamber pop sound and others a more glitchy electronic sound.

act v, released on June 3, 2022, is a seven-minute multi-part single. On Bandcamp, the single includes four covers by other artists: dirt by Clover & Sealife, waiting by Car Seat Headrest, blood by klswsk, and sleep by June LaLonde.

GRACE, released on March 31, 2023 is an EP inspired by the game Elden Ring. Each song is about a different character in the game. In order of the songs, Kalé, Radahn, The Nox, Fia, Blaidd, and Corhyn.

oil is kendall :3’s most recent project, released on May 9, 2025. This album blends all the styles Kendall has done on their previous albums, hey and dirt, as well as blends some some of the sounds shown throughout act v and GRACE, however everything seems more polished as it’s their first full length release in nearly three years.

Their handle on social media is @averycutedog, which is contradictory to their avatar character, which is a rabbit.
