KA$HDAMI

AKA: Damioso, David Wallace III

David Wallace III (born December 16, 2004), better known by his stage name KA$HDAMI, is an American rapper reigning from Las Vegas, Nevada. He moved to the DMV area when he was 7, which is where he currently resides.

During an interview with Dirty Glove Bastard in March 2021, the DMV-based rapper explained the origin of his stage name:

I was watching this movie The Omen and there was this white boy named Damian, and he was like the bad kid, and we was like “Oh yeah that’s me” and then we had “KA$HWAYZ” (Collective) so I just put them together and got KA$HDAMI.

Dami has been cosigned by names such as Brent Faiyaz, Cole Bennett, Pierre Bourne, Lil Tecca, ssgkobe, Cochise, Yung Bans and Taz Taylor among others.

In an interview with Our Generation Music, Dami used to originally rap through Logic and J. Cole type beats, however it was Ugly God and Duwap Kaine’s influence that put Dami into the signature sound he is known for today.

Dami has been proving himself, with songs like January 2021’s “Reparations!” and March 2021’s “Look N The Mirror!” both gaining over 150 million total streams through Soundcloud, Spotify, and YouTube. Thanks to the success of these songs, Dami would land a deal with Republic Records in May 2021. This would eventually lead up to Dami releasing his debut major-label album, epiphany, on June 2, 2021, with features ranging from tana, yvngxchris, SSGKobe, and more.

On November 12, 2021, Dami released the mixtape HYPERNOVA., which included his fist big cosign by Cleveland artist Trippie Redd. This tape further boosted his name and surpassed his fans expectations.

After continuing to release a slew of singles through streaming platforms, including some independent releases on his archive page, on September 16, 2022, Dami released his sophomore album, WORLD DAMINATION. That same year, he would release his EP, 18, on December 16, 2022

Keeping mostly quiet in 2023 with releases, entering into 2024, Dami would go onto release his third studio album, oasis on February 23 after receiving help from fellow DMV artist Brent Faiyaz. It would end up being DAMI’s final release under Republic Records, as he would go onto releasing new music independently through the INFINITI umbrella, starting with “Liq & X” on May 17. On September 13, 2024, Dami would surprise fans with his fourth studio album, INFINITI, which marked his second major release of the year. Wrapping up the year, on December 27, 2024, DAMI would release his second EP, $$$, as a gift to his fans to celebrate his birthday.

On September 5, 2025, after keeping quiet with releases throughout the year, KA$HDAMI would go onto release his fifth studio album, PAPER TRAIL.

KA$HDAMI is now gearing up for his next release, BLUEPRINT*, which is planned for a 2026 release.

The future looks up for Dami; with more projects on the way, it’s only a matter of time before the DMV artist gains recognition, especially after he was shown to be included on the 2021 Rolling Loud California lineup as well as Summer Smash hosted by Cole Bennett, the creator of Lyrical Lemonade.

Alongside with his musical career, Dami also owns a multi-media brand named KA$HWAYZ, in which music is being released under there, as well as merchandise being sold seasonally. The brand launched way back in 2020. Dami also owns a second independent record label, INFINITI Recordings, which launched in 2024, to which currently Dami releases new music there, alongside an array of established Hip-Hop artists and rising talents, with their main signees being yoon, Smokingskul, ILYFALL, and 1kSensei.
