K-Si Yang

K-Si Yang is a Michigan-born, Florida-based R&B artist, songwriter, and producer whose music lives between classic emotion and future-facing sound. A genre-bender by instinct, K-Si moves through soulful R&B, melodic rap, alternative textures, gospel-rooted feeling, and cinematic storytelling with a voice that often balances vulnerability and bravado in the same breath. Raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan, K-Si’s relationship with music started early — through church, family, choir, and the Yamaha keyboard that helped him begin writing and producing on his own. What started with covers and self-recorded songs slowly turned into a catalog that found listeners across the world. His music has earned over 20 million Spotify streams, editorial playlist support, millions of plays across platforms, and placements in television. Still, much of K-Si’s story has unfolded independently and quietly, built without the usual machinery behind artists with numbers of that scale.Following a period of reflection and growth, K-Si is entering a more intentional chapter of his career. This new era was recently marked by a sync placement with The Chi on Showtime/Paramount+. His latest work maintains an R&B core while exploring darker, alternative, and more visual textures, often incorporating anime-inspired or cinematic creative direction and monikers like “K-Si The Ghost” to further his storytelling.
