Juilen-K is an American electronic/industrial rock band formed by Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh—founding members of the rock band Orgy.

It was originally created as a side project between Amir and Ryan when the internal relations within the band were not quite stable and lead singer, Jay Gordon, was reluctant to work on the songs.

Eventually, they launched Julien-K as a side project, named after Julian Kaye, a character from the 1980 film American Gigolo.

The hiatus of Orgy from 2005 to 2012 cemented Julien-K as a separate new band, with Ryan and Amir quitting Orgy in 2010.
