Joshua Leventhal is an American-born, Canadian-raised, JUNO-nominated and two-time GMA Covenant Award-winning recording artist based just outside Vancouver, British Columbia. He is married to fellow creative and acclaimed abstract painter Kaitlyn Rose Leventhal.

Released in 2022, Joshua’s first full-length album, ALL YE LEPERS, served as both an act of confession and glorification, and an exploration of how the two are inextricably linked. Its songs explored fresh heights and depths, responding to the goodness of Christ across the spectrum of human experience – life and death, joy and sorrow, expectation and waiting. All with poetic determination and unflinching honesty. Intricate and fertile lyrics, woven through a rich and diverse sonic tapestry.

That same vision now finds even fuller expression in Tapiseri – a multi-volume biblical concept record tracing the grand narrative of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. Four years in the making, the project unfolds as a musical tapestry, each song serving as a thread in one unified Story. Tapiseri: Volume I, releasing on September 4, 2026, spans the Creation narrative through the Hebrew exile and the giving of the Law, marking the beginning of Joshua’s most ambitious artistic undertaking to date.
