Born and raised in San Jose, California, (stylized as josh!) Josh developed a love of hip-hop at a young age from listening to artists like Tyler the Creator, Travis Scott, and G-Eazy. A self-described shy but social kid, Josh loved music from a young age but never planned on making a career out of it. It wasn’t until he turned 15 when he discovered his talent for rapping and singing that he decided to pursue his passion full time.

Josh’s talent for fast, multi-layered rhymes and sweet vocals are seen in his earliest projects like “Wrong Timing’ and “Midsummer Crisis.” However, it wasn’t until Josh paired up with 18-year-old producer Royy that he finally found the sound he wanted to grow with. The duo’s collaborations are Josh’s most successful tracks to date, highlighted by singles like “Slow,” “Worth,” and “Dope.”

With less than two years on any major streaming platform, 20-year-old Josh (stylized as Josh!) has already surpassed more than one million cumulative streams off the strength of his charming flow, pleasing melodies, and dedicated fan base. With plans to drop more music than ever in 2021, Josh has already started off the new year strong with his release “Dope”, and collab with DK, “No More.”
