Josh Phillips
Josh Phillips is a country artist from Stanford, NC. Growing up, Phillips wanted a professional career in major league baseball and was even considered by the Atlanta Braves organization while playing in high school. However, after a knee injury in college, Phillips' career in baseball came to an end. During the recovery period, he found that he had a knack for songwriting, and started to play guitar in 2012. In 2015, Phillips moved to Nashville TN to pursue his music career. The same year, he independently released his debut single, What The Buzz Is All About. Since then, Phillips has released three EPs.
In addition to his solo work, Phillips has co-written songs for famous country artists such as Luke Combs, Brantley Gilbert, and Chris Young.
