Josh Cortes raps with braggadocious cadence, individualistic flows, and has musical conceptualization that is and heavily influenced by and reminiscent of the late Mac Miller. His wordplay and contemporarily digestible narrative on generational trauma and self-introspection are comparable and directly inspired by the likes of Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.
