Born and raised in Los Angeles, Josh Conway, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, DJ, and drummer, is best known as the co-founder and main source of rhythm for the indie-pop band The Marías.

The band’s distinctive style and growing popularity have been greatly influenced by Conway’s production and songwriting, which has led to two Grammy nominations, a Billboard chart-topper, and well-known Latin music collaborations.

He has stated that producing and developing music had been his “pipe dream” since he was 11 years old. His debut album, plum, released in June 2026, reflects and achieves that childhood ambition.
