Jon Brion (born December 11, 1963) is an American composer, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and singer. Born in New Jersey, Brion lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.

Throughout the ‘80s and '90s, Brion was a member of several bands, played as a session musician for several others, and contributed instrumentation to a handful of different albums.

In the early ‘90s Brion branched out into production, and in the mid-'90s he also began scoring films. Since then, he has become a renowned producer and composer; he has produced for the likes of Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Mac Miller, and Fiona Apple, and has scored nearly thirty films, two of which have been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack.

Brion released his debut solo album Meaningless in 2001. It is his only solo album.
