James Folorunso Ifeanyi Olaloye (born June 8, 2000), professionally known as Jim Legxacy, is a British rapper, singer, and producer from Lewisham, South East London.

Legxacy started his music career in 2017, after he built up his reputation with a Mixtape Madness feature and dropping tracks on SoundCloud. In 2019, Legxacy dropped his independent debut EP Dynasty Program: A Metrical Composition Inspired by the Nights Spent As the Raiider. The EP amassed over 400,000 streams on Spotify before being removed from all streaming platforms in mid-2025.

After the release of his debut EP, Legxacy teased his fans with the promise of new music, only fuelling the hype for more new music to come soon. Equate Magazine asked on how he got the ‘Legxacy’ name from and states:

To be honest, I actually can never remember why I called myself that; it felt good at the time. The word ‘legacy’ feels empowering when you hear it. I think something about the name reminds me that I’m here to leave something bigger, you know?.

In December 2021, he dropped his second EP CITADEL, expanding his sound genre in music to new heights, tackling lyrical themes and concepts in a refreshing, honest, and introspective manner. The EP is about his life, and the inspiration came from real-life things of films, video games, and graphic novels.

Since 2023, he has dropped his debut mixtape homeless nigga pop music or also known as HNPM. The mixtape has spawned four singles from this release in 2022, like “eye tell (!),” “hit it light it twist it,” “candy reign (!),” and “dj.” Pitchfork has rated the mixtape a 7.8. He has also co-produced a song for British rappers Dave and Central Cee of their single “Sprinter.” The single has reached at No. 1 on the UK Singles Charts, with 108,200 combined chart sales and 13.4 million streams – being the biggest first week streams for a rap song in UK history, alongside breaking the record for the most streamed hip-hop song in UK Spotify history. The single has been certified 2x platinum by British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in December 2023 and platinum by Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in September 2024.

On July 18, 2025, Jim Legxacy released his second mixtape, black british music (2025), which quickly became his most-streamed project to date.
