Joseph Guillermo Jones II, born July 15, 1976, in The Bronx, New York. Jones, better known by his stage name Jim Jones or Jimmy Jones, is an American rapper and record executive. The success of him becoming who he is, came from being tough enough to survive as a orphan within in his own family, and a society that was infectious with the blood gang epidemic. The spread of the blood gang populated through Jim Jones and got him caught up. Through being caught up he met the power of rap. He began to market himself as a rapper. Through several record labels he later became a founding member of the Diplomats (also known as Dipset). Jim Jones is best known for his hits “We Fly High” and “Pop Champagne”. He also had success with songs like “Ballin' (remix)” and “SummerTime (remix)”. His album “Hustler’s P.O.M.E. (Product of My Environment)” is also a popular project.
