Jesus Loves Junkies (stylized as Jesvs Loves Junkies) is an industrial rock band founded by Jeff Wambolt in Tucson, Arizona. Though the original incarnation of the band was short-lived, it produced 7 studio albums and 2 extended plays between 1994 and 1999. With the emergence of industrial music in the mainstream during the late 1980s and early 1990s, the musical style of Jesus Loves Junkies was heavily influenced by popular artists like Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson. On the band’s now-defunct website, Jesus Loves Junkies was labelled as a “musical diary or documented exorcism.”

The song “Escape From Paradise” was featured on Music to Go POSTAL By, a compilation inspired by the Postal video game franchise. This allowed the band to gain a cult following over a decade after their disbandment. Wambolt wrote and recorded songs for an 8th studio album titled End of Line, but the project was quickly abandoned and the dissolution of Jesus Loves Junkies followed soon after in 1999.

In 2023, Jesus Loves Junkies returned and released “The Only Way” on August 15th as the first single from their upcoming album. The single came nearly 25 years after the band’s last release in 1999, The Great Escape from Paradise. A second single, “Virtue’s Cure”, is expected to be released in 2026.
