Jessica Courtney Jose, more commonly known as Jessica Baio, grew up in a town close to Sacramento, California. When she was 11 years old, she preformed a cover of Miley Cyrus' “Wrecking Ball” for Cher Lloyd after winning an online contest. After uploading to it to YouTube it racked up over 6 million views. She then released several covers of her favorite tunes and well as original songs, which led to a contract with 10K Projects, the LA-based independent recording label she is still signed to today. In 2023, she released her debut album catalyst, which features her most successful song ever trust issues, which garnered over 53 million plays on Spotify.
