Jess Ray is a singer-songwriter and producer from Raleigh, NC. Jess began her solo career in 2015 with Sentimental Creatures and has since released a few more solo records as well as collaborating with fellow Carolinian artist Taylor Leonhardt to form Mission House. On top of that project, Jess is one forth of Paper Horses and contributed to the early Anchor Hymns EPs, the FAITHFUL project, and more. Since 2024, she has been passionate about her MATIN series, which are “uninterrupted, thirty-minute [live acoustic sets] of quiet songs and hymns, performed from first light until sunrise.” When touring, she is accompanied by her husband Kyle who artistically goes by his last name, Langdon.
