JEAN (Joinville, January 9, 2004), also known as JEANEXPERIMENT is a Brazilian producer, singer, songwriter, guitarist and visual artist. JEAN has a musical experimentation project on his Youtube channel [ youtube.com/@jeanexperiment ] and is the creator of a series of Alternative Reality videos called “Joinville Celesta”.

His musical style is unusual with references to electronic, classical and folk music, in addition to having a lot of reverberation in his instrumentals. The voice is worked on in the songs to perform, in addition to the main role, the background melodies and the backing vocals, alternating between low tones and falsettos in a somewhat breathy way.

JEAN has a strong relationship with Christianity and themes of working class politics, addressing these issues both in his visual project “Joinville Celesta” and in his songs.

Born in Joinville, Brazil, JEAN sang as a child seeking to perform the division of voices under a very rudimentary knowledge of the harmonic field. Until he started studying guitar at the age of 10.

As said by JEAN for the website expiam.com, his musical experimentation project aims to make public the production bases and concept of his works, to then launch 5 official projects that have been in planning since 2016: an Extended-play and a Debut Album to tell the story of 5 children that were resurrected and a second studio album that will bring the completion of the addressed concept. The other two future albums will be based on JEAN’s personal perspectives about the end times in Christian Theology. Thus, the third album deals with the “Beginning of Sorrows” until the “Return of Christ” and the fourth album deals with the belief in the “Millennium”, the idea that Christ will reign on earth after his future coming for a thousand years.
