A life of crime, drug addiction, prison, and hustling. Born on the Westside of Dayton but moved to the Eastside around the age of 8, his father left him & his mother as a child didn’t meet him again until he was about 18. Jay met one of his major influences in his life around 13, Adam Phillips aka Two Face, soon as he met Adam he wanted to live that lifestyle and make the real money that came with selling drugs as well as getting high. Jay did his first line of cocaine at the age of 13, after that it was a spiral of drug use and trouble. Jay had his first child, a daughter on December 1st 2010 shortly after caught a Aggravated Robbery charge on January 31st 2011. Receiving a Indictment with two F1s 2 Gun Specifications & a intimidation of a witness or crime victim had Jay looking at almost 30 years in prison max. he pled out to four years in the ODRC and began his sentence. He used in prison as well, but luckily made it out of his whole sentence to become free and be a father to his child he left at 2 months old now being 4 years old. Right back to his old ways the same month he left prison, using drugs, selling drugs. In prison he lost friends and family including the person he looked up to the most Adam Phillips. A few parole sanctions and finally waking up and realizing he could go right back to prison he stopped! he quit using he got out the streets and he actually got a job in the addiction field at Cornerstone Project. The affect of addiction didn’t stop there he lost one of his best friends to this terrible epidemic. He wrote him a song called “In Another Life” the same day he lost his friend. Its been his goal to help with this epidemic by doing benefits for addiction, attending any type of event for addiction and even molding his music to be about his experience with addiction and real life struggles. Still working in the field with addiction, he now has two beautiful daughters and a beautiful woman who they both was in active addiction when they got together now both clean and helping the community! Change is possible, we need to help our community and try to save lives! Dayton, Ohio is the #1 city in the USA for overdoses, Jay will not stop until we save more lives and stop this terrible epidemic.
