Jane Remover (born September 26, 2003) is a producer, songwriter, and artist from New Jersey. Their 2021 album, Frailty, received widespread recognition for its uniquely experimental blend of alternative rock, industrial electronic sounds, and glitchy hyperpop. Jane is currently signed to deadAir Records.

Remover is also known for pioneering a style of music now more commonly referred to as hyperflip, releasing it under the side project known as leroy. Through this project, they are recognized for popularizing their own style of the microgenre, whose namesake, [“dariacore”], is derived from. The sample-heavy subgenre centers on deconstructing pop and dance music into what Remover described as “this amalgamation of controlled chaos,” drawing heavily from TikTok and Vine culture as well as irony-driven internet music. Their work spans electronic music, shoegaze, digicore, and experimental hip-hop, with each major Remover release becoming known for its distinct sonic identity.

Jane also records under the alias ‎venturing, a project that has released many demos and live versions on SoundCloud, as well as one extended play, Arizona EP, and an album, Ghostholding, on all streaming services. In 2026, Jane released “In the dark” as a bonus track celebrating the first anniversary of Ghostholding. The project also presents itself as a lost-media band from the ‘90s through a collection (hence the release dates on SoundCloud dating as far back as 1991).

Their sophomore album, Census Designated (Oct. 20, 2023), also received critical acclaim for its “feverish mutation of shoegaze and bedroom pop.” Following the album’s release, they toured as the opener for brakence during the hypochondriac tour, marking Jane’s first major North American tour.

In mid-July 2024, JPEGMAFIA announced his Lay Down My Life Tour. Jane was also announced as an opening act for the artist alongside RXKNephew. The tour introduced Jane to a significantly larger audience and later influenced the creation of Revengeseekerz. Shortly after the tour announcement, they released the single Flash in the Pan (Jul. 31, 2024), which included a rework of a previous song made with venturing, called Aberdeen Dream Sequence.

On April 4, 2025, Jane released their third album, Revengeseekerz. It became their highest-profile release to date and earned praise from publications such as Pitchfork, NME, and Rolling Stone.

On December 5, 2025, Jane released the six-track EP ♡ (heart), a collection that compiled previous singles alongside new tracks. The EP draws from the sessions for Jane’s previously teased, unreleased dance pop album, with the track list positioning songs like “So What?” as part of the same larger pop-era run that included Flash in the Pan and other adjacent releases.

In 2026, Jane reached another career milestone by making their Coachella debut before embarking on the Live Exhibit tour, their biggest headlining tour to date following the release of ♡. The tour included festival appearances such as Governors Ball, alongside headlining dates across the United States, Canada, and Europe, with longtime collaborator Dazegxd as the support act and DJ. Outside of their solo work, they also appeared on Chilean artist AKRIILA’s single “suave”.
