JANE HANDCOCK is a singer-songwriter and rapper from the Bay Area. She started as a ghostwriter and has gone on to collaborate with artists such as Kelly Rowland, Keke Palmer, Jazze Pha, Teddy Riley, and Tyrese.

Born Myariah Summers in Oakland, California, she was raised in the nearby city of Richmond. She started singing in the church and attended the Oakland School for the Arts, where she was a classmate of R&B singer Adrian Marcel, who introduced her to Bay Area legend Raphael Saadiq. He was the presenter for Jane’s first two albums: 2016’s Truth Be Told and 2017’s Truth Explains a Lot. Jane was briefly signed to Def Jam before Raphael Saadiq connected her to Snoop Dogg, who signed her to Death Row Records and released two more projects: 2023’s World of Women and 2025’s It’s Me, Not You, which yielded the singles “Stingy” and “Stare at Me” with Anderson .Paak, who signed Jane to his Apeshit management company.
