Jakey J is a Young MC from Western Sydney who uses his music to inspire his peers towards creating positive change. 

Having being bullied for most of his life, Jakey J found an escape through music. At first he found this escape through performing in the school band and school choir, and eventually branched out to writing and recording his own music in the studio.

Originally from Sydney NSW, in his early teens Jakey J moved up to a small country town called Orange. In early 2015, Jake was invited to perform at various Youth Week events, and the 4E Festival, back in Sydney. These experiences assisted him in realising it was time to move back to the city to pursue his creative endeavours. 

Since then he has been focused on writing, releasing, performing, and collaborating. He released his first EP in Late November 2017 to early 2018 and plans on continuing to chase his dreams in the years to come.
