Jake Minch is a Connecticut-born, Los Angeles–based singer-songwriter whose indie/indie pop turns growing up, love, and loss into sharp, conversational hooks. He broke out in 2023 when “handgun” took off online, paving the way for his debut EP how many (2for2 projects/Mercury Records/Republic), a six-song set that includes “moms new car,” “id pick up flowers,” and “whose you are.”

In 2025 Minch released his debut album George (July 11), a raw, intimate coming-of-age record featuring the single “Fingers and Clothes” (with background vocals by Alix Page) and standouts like “First I Was,” “Changed Things,” and “Say Uncle.” The album was produced with Tony Berg and arrived alongside his first headline dates. Minch has shared stages with Jeremy Zucker, The Head and the Heart, Alix Page, Del Water Gap, and Grace Enger while earning co-signs from artists like Noah Kahan and Lizzy McAlpine.
