Jade Amelia Thirlwall (born December 26, 1992), also known as JADE, is a British singer, best known as a member of the successful girl group Little Mix, which she formed alongside Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, and former member Jesy Nelson during the 8th season of The X Factor UK. They were the first band to ever win the show.

With six studio albums and a greatest hits collection, Little Mix has sold over 60 million records worldwide, solidifying their status as one of the best-selling girl groups and UK acts in history. They have achieved 14 Top 10 singles, including four that reached #1 on the charts, and all of their albums have reached the Top 5 in the UK, including one #1. Little Mix also made history as the first girl group to win the British Group award at the BRIT Awards, and they have earned a total of three BRIT Awards throughout their career.

Outside of her music career, Jade is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, citing RuPaul as her idol, and even has appeared in the television series RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2022. In 2019, she and fellow band member Leigh-Anne joined other British celebrities in climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, raising funds for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. That same year, Jade launched her own cocktail bar, Red Door, in her hometown of South Shields—later rebranded as Arbeia in 2020.

In December, 2021, Little Mix announced that they would be taking a break after completing their Confetti Tour, marking the end of an era but leaving the door open for future projects.

Jade’s solo career started in July 2024, with the release of her highly anticipated debut single “Angel of My Dreams”. It would go on to receive acclamation from fans and critics alike, peaking at #7 on the UK Singles Chart, marking her first solo Top 10 hit.
