Jacob (제이콥, korean name: Bae Joon-Young 배준영), is a South Korean-Canadian singer and dancer, best known as a member of the K-pop group THE BOYZ. Born on May 30, 1997, in Toronto, Canada, Jacob grew up in a multicultural environment and is fluent in both English and Korean. Before pursuing his K-pop career, Jacob was active in various school activities, including playing sports and music, and is particularly skilled at playing the guitar.

He joined THE BOYZ under Cre.Ker Entertainment (now IST Entertainment) and debuted with the group on December 6, 2017. As a vocalist, Jacob is known for his soft and soothing voice, often taking on a calming role in the group’s performances and songs. Aside from his musical talents, Jacob is praised for his warm personality and positive energy, earning him the nickname “Angel” among fans and members alike.

Jacob is also recognized for his leadership qualities, as he is one of the most mature and dependable members of THE BOYZ. His love for animals, especially dogs, and his natural charm have endeared him to many fans worldwide.
