Jackyl is an American rock band that started in 1991. Their music is a blend of hair metal and Southern rock. Jackyl is famous for their song “The Lumberjack,” which features a chainsaw solo by their lead singer, Jesse James Dupree.

They have released several albums, including Push Comes to Shove in 1994, which led to a performance at Woodstock ‘94, and Cut the Crap in 1997, featuring AC/DC’s Brian Johnson on the track “Locked and Loaded.” Jackyl also holds Guinness World Records for numerous concerts in a short period.

Current members include Jesse James Dupree (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jeff Worley (guitar), Chris Worley (drums), and Roman Glick (bass).

In 2022, they marked their 30th anniversary with the release of Jackyl 30 Coming In Hot, continuing their legacy of southern rock with powerful lyrics and dynamic performances.
