My name is IrbyMissingAK, and I make Indie Pop/Rock music. I started at some point in 2019, and been making music since.

What got me into making music was actually an accident. I was looking for songs to listen to, and I happened to stumble across a song by Logic, called “Homicide”. I wanted to rap the entire thing, and so I did, and that’s when I decided I’d become a rapper someday. I tried singing, and I guess I honed my voice, because I can do a lot of tones with my voice.

I dropped my first mixtape in 2023, called “Soul Abuse: the Mixtape”, on Band Camp, and since then have been consistently dropping projects on BandLab since.

It’s been a journey for me, learning new things about myself, but it has never been boring.
