I.O.I is a nine-member K-Pop girl group formed through Mnet’s survival reality show Produce 101. The group released the pre-debut single “Crush” in March 2017 before debuting with their first EP Chrysalis and its title track “Dream Girls”.

I.O.I originally disbanded as planned in January 2017. Several months later, the group tried to plan to reunite in December 2019 with nine members under Studio Blu. Sadly, the reunion was canceled due to four members being unable to participate.
In February 2026, it was announced that the group would officially have a comeback with nine members in May 2026 to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
