insch are a Portuguese rock band, from Ericeira (better known for its beaches and renown surf breaks), with strong grunge and alternative rock influences. The name “insch” comes from the Scottish Gaelic innis, meaning “island”, “haven”, “sanctuary” or even “an island where you can be safe from your enemies”. Insch is also a small village in Scotland, better know for its idyllic landscape, about 50kms from Aberdeen.
