Infinite.flight.fan
infinite.flight.fan is most popular for his Instagram page about Infinite Flight, but also has an music side of him. infinite.flight.fan has released 2 full solo albums, 1 collaborative album (with infiniteflight_earth), 1 EP, and 3 singles in his music career.
Before he started releasing songs commercially, infinite.flight.fan started his music career sharing some snippets/short tracks on SoundCloud in early 2018. No one knew what these songs would become, but infinite.flight.fan had big plans coming.
On March 8th, 2019, infinite.flight.fan released SkyRyse, his first solo commercial album. The album is an instrumental album that sends the listeners into a world of space, clouds, cosmology, and happiness. All of the 14 tracks have been produced, mixed, and engineered by Infinite.flight.fan himself. The album cover art was inspired by aviation as a whole. Best views a job has to offer in infinite.flight.fan’s opinion.
On April 25, 2019, he released his first single “Testing”. The track was an instant hit. The track is a dance track and repeats the words “Testing” due to the aviation term.
A month later, infinite.flight.fan released his first EP. Charging – EP was a 4 track project that portrayed the process of electricity and its sound components. infinite.flight.fan mashed the sound in a electronic way. The cover art for Charging represents a vinyl cd which its popularity is on the rise. he said that he wanted to explain the uprising of the popularity of vinyls.
“The analogue format made of polyvinyl chloride had been the main vehicle for the commercial distribution of pop music from the 1950s until the 1980s and 1990s when they were largely replaced by the Compact Disc (CD). Since the turn of the millennium, CDs have been partially replaced by digital downloads. However, in 2007, vinyl sales made a sudden small increase, starting its comeback, and by the early 2010s, it was growing at a very fast rate. In some territories, vinyl is now more popular than it has been since the late 1980s, though vinyl records still make up only a marginal percentage (<6%) of overall music sales.
Along with steadily increasing vinyl sales, the vinyl revival is also evident in the renewed interest in the record shop (as seen by the creation of the annual worldwide Record Store Day), the implementation of music charts dedicated solely to vinyl, and an increased output of films (largely independent) dedicated to the vinyl record and culture.
Though many sales in vinyl are of modern artists with modern styles or genres of music, the revival has sometimes been considered to be a part of the greater revival of retro style, since many vinyl buyers are too young to remember vinyl being a primary music format.
In the works since February (before SkyRyse), infinite.flight.fan and infiniteflight_earth released small snippets of a possible collaboration. They teased their upcoming collaboration album for 4 months. Then finally, they released “Explore” on June 7th, 2019. It is a 15 track album, with the set theme of exploration and the outdoors. There is a lot of outdoor sounds complied in the album (rain forests, beaches, waves, animals, etc.). The album covert art resembles nature, and the visual imagery of exploration in the world. The album was very successful during the summer, and had a lot of hit songs that are still popular today.
One month later, infinite.flight.fan released his second single of 2019, called “Unforgettable”. Unforgettable is a dance/electronic album which is “funky” according to infinite.flight.fan.
In November of 2019 (4 months from his last release) infinite.flight.fan returned with a new single, Arcade. Arcade is a very abrasive/electronic/glitchy song. The theme is literally an Arcade and it sounds like you are surrounded by many loud sounds to form one song. Arcade would eventually appear in his upcoming album, the Electronic World.
On November 23rd, 2019, infinite.flight.fan would release his last album, “The Electronic World”. infinite.flight.fan announced the album a couple days after Arcade was released and said that it would be his last album as infinite.flight.fan. For only starting releasing music 8 months ago, fans were shocked that he would be releasing his last album in such a short time. infinite.flight.fan said that he wanted he music career to be a short time hobby and was focused on bigger goals. The album is compiles of different sounds with some songs appearing from his earliest releases on Sound Cloud before SkyRyse. The cover art for The Electronic World represents a futuristic city in an “electronic sense of way”.
A month later, infinite.fight.fan announced that he was going to release a single (3 songs) and that it would be his last music release as infinite.flight.fan. On December 23rd, 2019, infinite.flight.fan released “Fly”. Fly would compile 3 songs that summarized all of his other releases. infinite.flight.fans projects had different tones to his music. Fly took every tone and added it into 3 songs. The cover art for fly looks very similar to the style of “SkyRyse” with a faded background of mountains and the same font used. “SkyRyse” was infinite.flight.fan’s first commercial release, and “Fly” was infinite.flight.fan’s last commercial release.
Since March of 2019, infinite.flight.fan was really involved with releasing music, and promoting it a lot during the way. Some say his career was too short, and some say it was just enough to get the message across.
