Incaged is a unique blend of music that is heavy and all original. It’s hard to pin down the exact genre of music Incaged would be classified in, the music is so diverse. Such energy and emotion goes into every show, set after set all over hell and back this band gets more recognition everyday. The band consists of 4 members. Mike Power-vocals, Chad Rogers-guitar, Jesse Hamm-bass, and Tony Bruno on drums. Musical influences range from bands like Soulfly, 40 Below Summer, Dry Kill Logic, American Head Charge, Slipknot, Korn, Mudvayne, Poison The well and others. Incaged had a distinct heavy sound that attracts people who like all genres. Incaged recorded their first full length CD in the spring of 2001 called “Orange Twisted Faces”. The band managed to distribute over 1,100 copies. Incaged replaced their original drummer Eric in January of 2002. That’s when Tony Bruno joined the line up. The band started writing new material right away and put out their 2nd full length CD called “Burn”. After that the band has been played numerous times on 95.1 Wiil Rock on Sunday nights. The band has also managed to distribute almost 1,100 copies of “Burn” as well. After the release of “Burn”, the band was having minor musical differences and that’s when they decided to replace their bass player Jimmy. In October of 2002 they added Jesse Hamm as their bass player. Jesse picked up the music right away and Incaged once again began to write new material. Incaged just recently released a new 5 song EP called “Begin With This”. Incaged has played with national acts such as Anthrax, Lamb Of God, The Heavils, 40 Below Summer, E.Town Concrete, Dope, 40 Grit, Pissing Razors, Luxt, Society 1, Zug Izland, and Unloco. Incaged has also played with some of the best local metal acts around such as Slitheryn, S.O.R.E., Cry For Dawn, Chapter 7, to name a few. Incaged has played at such venues as The Rave in Milwaukee, The Pig Pen in Clinton Iowa, Oasis 160, The Elixur in Rockford, and more. The band is busy writing new songs and playing live shows almost every weekend all over the tri-state area. With the new line up, Incaged has been getting better venue’s and a much more aggressive stage show. With everything Incaged has to offer the music scene.
