In Shards is a Metalcore band based in Castrop Rauxel (Germany) with female front singer Dessislava “Dessi” Neuhaus, shouter Denis Gagliardi, lead guitarist Marius Mücke, bassist Michelle Tietsch, rhythm guitarist Dominik Brunki and drummer Daniel Martin. Their music is characterized by melodic and heavy guitar riffs, which are combined with melancholic and expressive synths and pushing drum and bass lines. The lyrics are influenced by personal emotions and experiences of the singers and deal with overcoming personal throwbacks.
