Identity V “第五人格” is an asymmetrical horror mobile game developed in July of 2018 by Chinese studios “NetEase Games”. Initially, Identity V was created as a mini practice project called “Dangerous Game” for new employees to NetEase Games. However, the popularity was great enough for further development, being renamed "Identity V". Originating as a mobile game, it can also be accessed on PC or through a PC emulator found on the official website.

The gameplay is played with Five players who participate in single matches:
-1 (Hunter)
-4 (Survivors: There are four different general types of Survivors: Decode, Contain, Assist, and Rescue)
The Hunters must eliminate the four survivors before they fulfill their objectives: to repair generators and escape.

The game has a dark, gothic style, and has gained over 10,000,000 downloads.
