Rolando Gomez (born June 23, 1998), better known by his stage name Icy Narco, is an American recording artist coming straight out of Miami, Florida.

Icy started his rap career by battle rapping with his classmates in between classes. He didn’t take music serious he was pushed by his high school peers to start recording, showing his potential.

He first started releasing music onto his SoundCloud in 2017, with one of his earliest remaining songs being “You.” The track instantly started gaining traction, inspiring Icy to continue releasing music. He followed up this up with more songs, such as “Viagra Niagra” and “Snowman.”

After moving to Los Angeles in 2018, Icy released “#RONNYJIKILLEDTHIS.” Produced by RONNY J and premiered on the No Jumper YouTube channel, this song continued to propel Icy more into the mainstream, eventually leading him to signing a record deal with Elliot Grainge’s 10K Projects. He released his first official single under the label, “LINK,” on June 14, 2018, quickly following it up with July’s “Numb & Frozen.”

He ended off 2018 with September’s “OtherSide” and the Kid Buu assisted “Frozen Soul.” He was also featured on XXL’s “The Break” series that month, helping solidify his place as a rising star in the rap game.

Icy would have a slower 2019, releasing his first official song halfway through the year on June 14, 2019 with “Hypocrites.” Just a few months later on September 27, 2019, Icy Narco released his debut studio album, Winter Can Be Murder. The album performed well among fans. Icy would go on a multiple year hiatus following the release of this album, only doing an occasional feature such as his guest verse on BLVK JVCK’s “DAT WAY” in early 2020.

After an almost two year hiatus, Icy returned on August 20, 2021 with the release of “Stress,” his first release since parting ways with 10K Projects. Unbeknownst, this would also be his final release for years to come.

As of 2025, Icy has yet to release any new music. While he makes the occasional Instagram post and has even hinted at releasing new music, nothing has come to fruition. It is unknown as to why he left or when Icy will come back.
