hYYdn is a lyrically sharp, genre-bending artist, producer, and guitarist from the DMV, whose mission is to use soulful, story-driven hip hop as a vessel for spreading the Gospel and empowering communities. With a signature sound he dubs “Alien Jazz,” hYYdn blends faith, authenticity, and innovation to reach hearts and spark transformation.

His journey began at age eleven, when he delivered his first rap verse during his sixth-grade graduation ceremony. Since then, he has drawn influence from Kirk Franklin’s genre fusion, Timbaland’s boundary-pushing production, and Nas’s timeless storytelling. His discography includes the debut EP Rejoice Bruh (2017) and the full-length album Unworthy (2020)—both early glimpses of an artist unafraid to merge depth with experimentation.

His music has already garnered widespread cultural attention, with recent features on BET+, airplay on Praise 104.1, and a growing digital footprint. In 2025, he released multiple singles, including the summer standouts “Fall On Us” (June) and “Clean” (August), both set to appear on his forthcoming EP Snakes and Ladders.
