Hummingbird Tapes is a project that documents the creational process of musical composition and production during an ‘Isolation’. These Isolations are achieved by going on one-week journeys to diverse environments concealed from the outside world. The project is an ever-changing experiment, as the artists involved and the secluded environments constantly change. The limitations of space and time allow everyone to embrace the collective creativity – thus allowing raw inspiration to meld with the place, the vibe, and the people.

Hummingbird Tapes’ spawns from a beautiful friendship, and motivation to create music. As of now we’ve been accompanied by multi-cultural artists from: Mexico, Austria and Hong Kong. We aim to grow the family and welcome anyone to join us for future Isolations!
