Founded by vocalist and frontman Rev. Sinister in the summer of 2002, Hub City Stompers are based out of the “hub city” of New Brunswick, New Jersey. The band was mostly formed with former members of New Brunswick ska band Inspecter 7. Their unique sound blends all three waves of ska with a number of other genres, including reggae, oi!, punk rock, hardcore, hip-hop and jazz.

In 2013 the band reformed into a revived Inspecter 7 with former vocalist Giuseppe Mancini, but ultimately split with him and revived the HCS name in 2014. The band continues to tour nationwide and is a fixture in the New Jersey ska and punk scene.
