Holly Tara Macve, born May 23, 1995, is an Irish alternative country artist based in Austin, Texas.

Beginning her music career in 2014, Macve draws inspiration from vintage icons, citing in an interview with STATIC, Elvis Presley and Chris Isaak. Macve blends alternative country with noir aesthetics and “old-money” textures to create a timeless, dreamlike sound. Her deep, melancholic vocals move seamlessly from twangy country guitar to minimalist piano ballads, as heard in her notable single “Suburban House”, featuring icon Lana Del Rey.

Her debut album Golden Eagle was released in 2017, where she gained momentum in the music industry. The album develops a deep, sultry country vibe with alluring vocals, earning her an NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert.

Since then, Macve has continued to make music with her sophomore album Not The Girl. While her presence in the music industry was minimal, her EP Time Is Forever regained popularity in the media.

Late 2024, Macve released her third album Wonderland, alongside her promotional single “Almost A Miracle”. Since then, she has been active in her career with interviews and festival performances, evolving her sound into a dreamy Western soundscape for her upcoming fourth project.
