Hazakim
Michael and Anthony Wray founded Hazakim ministries in 1997. Hazakim, Hebrew for “strong ones”, is a music ministry whose purpose and intent is to proclaim the truths of God’s word with a messianic edge. Due to an upbringing in the messianic Jewish movement, as well as their multicultural roots which include Jewish ancestry, their music possesses a trademark Middle Eastern/Hebrew influence which sets them apart from other hip-hop artists.
On April 4th, 2008 the duo announced they were signed to Lamp Mode Recordings.
Hazakim’s music can be found on the compilations Sphere of Hiphop (1997) and Open Mic volume 1 (2000).
In 2001 they released their full length album named Hip-Hologetics. A follow-up project called Theophanies [Hip-Hologetics Volume 2] came out on Lamp Mode Recordings in 2009.
