Halysis is a metal band from Lahti, Finland. After being formed in 2015, the band started writing their debut album Cerulean, which was released in the spring of 2020. Cerulean is a concept album which tells the story of a desperate man trying to find his meaning in the world. Instruments accompany the feeling of hopelesness and anger with their technical riffing and beautiful acoustic sections. Halysis combines many metal subgenres in their music while maintaining their own distinct sound. Some of the biggest influences include Trivium, Between the Buried and Me, As I Lay Dying and The Faceless.
