Jaidon Ryland Gunn (born November 12, 2002), better known by his online alias Gunnr (formerly Lil Gunnr), is an alternative rapper and producer hailing from Toronto, Canada.

Gunnr initially gained traction from promoting and selling FL Studio vocal presets on his YouTube channel, which allowed him to grow within the social media scene. After years of doing so, it allowed him to get in touch with guys such as Yung Fazo, Autumn!, Summrs, and Rich Amiri, among others.

Gunnr started making music in 2018, but he wouldn’t seek traction until 2023, with the release of his project, Wicked, which had features from artists such as Summrs and Rich Amiri. In fall of 2024, Gunnr released web. He followed up with the deluxe version to mark the new year, featuring big tracks such as, “switch”.

After many releases in 2025, Gunnr dropped his highly anticipated project, silk in shadows, which featured hit tracks such as “areyoulistening”, which was originally released as the promotional single for the album. It also showcased “dancingwiththestars,” which would go on to be his most streamed song ever as of September 2025. This tranction led to it receiving a remix from blackbear, a multi-platinum singer-songwriter known for his feature verses.

The album contributed to Gunnr surpassing over 100,000 and later 250,000 monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time, huge milestones for the rapper.
