GUNNAR
AKA: Gunnar Patrick Gehl, Gunnar Gehl
GUNNAR was just a kid when he picked up a guitar for the first time and felt his life’s purpose: delivering the kind of electrifying live show that leaves audiences enraptured.
At the age of 7 he began playing in a garage band with friends in Orange County, now the 23-year-old singer/songwriter has performed in front of sold-out crowds, opening for Maroon 5 and Gwen Stefani, and has amassed over 20 million global streams.
From backyard parties to 15,000 seat arenas, he has engaged audiences with effortless confidence and control, growing a devoted fanbase along the way with his “mesmerizing guitar riffs and truthful lyrics” (TMRW Magazine, 2023). In 2022, GUNNAR headed into the studio with GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Brendan O’Brien to create his debut full-length album, Best Mistake. The album encompasses a guitar-heavy sound echoing the eclectic mix of influences that form GUNNAR’s musical DNA.
After returning from a summer European tour opening for Maroon 5 in 2023 and playing sold-out arenas, GUNNAR released “Again & Again” in Oct 2023 with strong acclaim, landing on Spotify’s Pop Rising and New Pop Picks playlists. The song is an ode to the fans and connections he made while in Europe and showcases the pop influences in his voice against his alternative, mid-aughts garage rock edge.
GUNNAR is gearing up for a bold summer as he joins Jaden Hossler as direct support on his North American tour, just off the heels of his single release of “Dirty Blonde” in June 2024. The record, produced by KThrash (Machine Gun Kelly, Jelly Roll, blink-182), captures the essence of an anthemic summer – radiating with fun, wild adventure, carefree spirits and the thrill of a fling.
