Gpkism

GPKISM was a Japanese-Australian electro-industrial and gothic music project formed in 2007 by GPK (a musician from Australia) and Kiwamu (a guitarist from Japan, known for his work with the visual kei band BLOOD). Another notable member could be RYONAI (on Keys). RYONAI was briefly involved in GPKISM, contributing to the band’s electronic and gothic-industrial sound. His signature atmospheric synth work complemented the dark, Baroque-inspired style of the project.
GPKISM blended darkwave, gothic, EBM (electronic body music), and industrial elements with a strong influence from Baroque and Victorian aesthetics. Their music often featured dramatic, operatic vocals, heavy synth-driven beats, and haunting melodies, creating a unique sound in the visual kei and darkwave scenes.
The project ended in 2011 when GPK left the music industry. Kiwamu continued working in the visual kei and gothic music scenes.
