Good Old War is an indie-folk trio from Philadelphia, PA that formed in 2008 after the hiatus announcement of indie band Days Away, the former band of drummer Tim Arnold and guitarist/vocalist Keith Goodwin.

The band name derives from the last names of the three members: Keith Goodwin, Tim Arnold, and Dan Schwartz.
